The “Day of Silence,” this Friday,
April 11th, is a nationally honored remembrance day. This
student-led national event is a day for LGBTQ
communities and allies to come together and acknowledge the “silence”
that results from hate speech, bullying, and subtle “othering” of
LGBTQ peoples.
